Before his election as President, Lincoln was a lawyer, a member of the United States House of Representatives, and an unsuccessful candidate for election to the Senate. As an outspoken opponent of the expansion of slavery in the United States, Lincoln won the Republican Party nomination in 1860 and was elected president later that year.

He was the worst president we had. He manipulated the south into fired at fort Sunder, he suspended Havius corprus, jailed critics and southen sympathizesers. Invaded a soverign nation and wanted to deport all non-white People in america. The emancipation Proclamation was only a failed attemped to get southern slaves to rebel, and The north had more slaves that were treated much worse than any southern slaves.
